Miles for Seniors
The Miles for Seniors program matches volunteers with individuals in need of transportation to and from medical appointments, pharmacy, and grocery store. We provide door-through-door service that ensures each client is safe and taken care of in the best way suited for them. Miles for Seniors provides this service at no charge to clients or their family members.
Are you eligible?
- 60 years or older
- Live independently or with family
- Mobile without the use of a wheelchair (We cannot transport wheelchairs)
- Able to coordinate own service request
Volunteer
Volunteers drive seniors to doctor appointments, the grocery store, and pharmacy using their own vehicles, mileage reimbursement is available. Scheduling is flexible with a Monday - Friday schedule. Drivers can self-assign, receive a phone call or email when a senior needs a ride.
